The Canon EOS (Electric Optical System) 5 was introduced in 1992.

It was launched as a Prosumer model.

It is an important camera as it very much set the design of late SLR cameras that developed into the DSLR’s that we know today.

The unique feature of the camera was the eye control focusing. I found this to work up to a point.

The wheel on the back allows you to change the aperture when on manual.

A very easy to use camera.

I have found that not all Canon’s of this age work, having said that if it is working they are excellent cameras capable of excellent results.
